DysFUNKsion is a powerhouse cover band comprised of 8 professional musicians who have come together with a common goal to play 100% live music. They specialize in Funk, R&B, and Disco with a great mix of Classic Rock and Contemporary spanning the 1950’s to current day hits for your dancing and listening pleasure.
It is a common assumption that dysFUNKsion is from the Coast as they deliver a top-notch professional show. But there is no need to hire a band from the coast, we have a secret weapon right here in the Coachella Valley! Because dysFUNKsion is a large live band, you won’t see them playing in every little bar and dinner club, this keeps them unique and fresh.
DysFUNKsion band is the dream project of husband and wife team Johnny and Connie. They originated dysFUNKsion in Seattle, Washington where they developed a strong following, performing at casinos, national music festivals and a variety of corporate functions. Homesick for Johnny’s southern California roots, they moved to the Coachella Valley and replicated DysFUNKsion band through a meticulous selection of professional musicians whose synergistic bond is as strong as their talent.
